Electric Bike Rental Safety
Helmet Use
Always wear a properly fitted helmet when riding our electric bikes. It’s the best way to protect your head in case of an accident.
Familiarize Yourself with the Bike
Take a few moments to become familiar with the electric bike’s controls, including the brakes, throttle, and pedal-assist settings.
Safety Check
Before each ride, inspect the bike for any visible damage or issues. If you notice any problems, please report them to our staff immediately.
Proper Riding Technique
Ride in a straight line, obey traffic laws, and follow local regulations.
Keep both hands on the handlebars and maintain a firm grip.
Avoid sudden starts and stops, and use your brakes gradually.
Yield the right of way to pedestrians, and use caution when passing.
Use turn signals and hand signals to indicate your intentions.
Speed Control
Electric bikes can reach higher speeds. Start at a slower pace and gradually increase your speed as you become more comfortable.
Be Aware of Your Surroundings
Always be mindful of your surroundings. Watch for obstacles, traffic, and pedestrians.
Use mirrors if available to check for vehicles behind you.
Do not use headphones while riding; it’s essential to hear what’s happening around you.
Parking
Park your electric bike in designated areas and use bike racks when available.
Do not obstruct sidewalks, entrances, or handicap ramps.
Battery Management
Monitor the battery level to ensure you have enough power to complete your journey. Plan your route accordingly.
Please contact us if you experience any issues with the battery.
Inclement Weather
Exercise caution during adverse weather conditions, such as rain or extreme winds. Reduced visibility and slippery roads can make riding more challenging.
Emergency Procedures
In case of an accident or emergency, call emergency services immediately.
Please contact us for assistance or to report any damage or accidents involving our electric bikes.
